Brett Jolly’s Daily Thought (What you could do about stress in your life)

I have talked to so many people who seem stressed out lately. ┬áMost of them seem to be stressed out because of what other people have done or said. They don’t realize that the more they talk about those other people the more they are stressing out. ┬áSome people get off on manipulating others and pushing their buttons to ruin your day. The sad part about this is that they can only get away with it “if you allow them to do so.” Everyone has an opinion. You are entitled to yours. If people continually disagree with you then simply “ignore them.” Thinking about them continually won’t help you and eventually it will ruin your spirit. I define stress as “Something that you allow other people to put on you.” If you have good intentions and are doing things legally then why are all these people sweating you? It can have a profound effect on your health. Even your own friends can stress you out if you let them. Whenever these people are not around you should stop thinking about them. Thinking about them only stresses you out more (and this time you are doing it to yourself because they are not even around). Just accept the fact that everyone has an opinion and let it go. Think happy thoughts instead of focusing on these people. I do realize that it is not easy to just ignore what other people are saying but you have to believe that you can do it. It might help you sleep better at night. A peaceful existence is something that everyone should be entitled to. Hopefully you will get yours. I hope your day today is stress-free.
