Live performance of Teddy Pendergrass (with Brett Jolly on bass) doing “Love TKO”

This is another video song from my former boss singer Teddy Pendergrass. This was also taken from his live DVD entitled “From Teddy with Love” and the title of this track is “Love TKO.” On this particular song there won’t be any closeups of me until the 3:51 mark of the song. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you have a great weekend.

A video of Brett Jolly’s “Wednesday night event”…performed live….

Each Wednesday evening I host a special event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that we titled “The Wednesday Night Grand Slam.” Technically, it can be referred to as an “open mic” night, where musicians and singers can come up onstage to play. The difference between us and all other open mic nights is that we play anything (and yes, I mean that). We will often take requests (and actually play them, whether we know them or not). Also, we won’t do the exact same songs each week. We like to play different material and we always start off with our own set each week. This video is long (almost 3 hours) but you can check it out at your own discretion. Of course, I am the lead emcee wearing the “Canada” shirt and playing the big red bass guitar. I hope you enjoy this segment and have a great weekend:)

Another live performance video with Brett Jolly playing

This is another segment from the PBS special I did entitled “Love Train: The Sound of Philadelphia.” This one is longer than the others and it features the Three Degrees, The Delfonics and Harold Melvin’s Bluenotes with Sharon Paige in it. I am playing in the orchestra with these artists. However, there is also a performance by the O’Jays band actually playing a warmup song “without” the O’Jays at the end. I am not with this unit but you are more than welcome to check it out if you like. I am the one standing up in the orchestra playing the big red bass guitar and you can see closeups at the 2:39 and 2:46 marks. Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend.

My song and video entitled “Beyond”

This summer I intend to do a lot more music videos for my own songs (and the songs of others). I am looking for people with creative minds who happen to live near or plan to visit the Philadelphia area soon. Music is expression and this is a song and concept that i wrote and produced simply entitled “Beyond.” It features me and my bass guitar (being played as a lead guitar). I hope you like it and I would love to wish you all a great weekend.

My music song and video entitled “Broke”

People have asked me to repost one of my music videos. I plan to do a “lot” more this sumer (so if anyone feels he or she is video worthy and has something to offer and would like to be in one, please contact me soon). This particular song and video is “self explanatory” and is simply entitled “Broke.” I am sure that “several” people will be able to relate to this:) Thank you again for checking out my song (I wrote, and performed all instruments and vocals in this tune) and I hope you have a great weekend.

Teddy Pendergrass (along with Brett Jolly) performing “When Somebody loves you back”

I was asked to share another clip from Teddy Pendergrass’ live concert (with me playing the bass guitar) so this time I figured I would share his classic, “When Somebody loves you back.” Whenever Teddy and us referred to this song onstage we would laughingly call it “When loving you from the back.” You can find me on the left side of the stage (Teddy’s right side) wearing red suspenders with all black playing the bigger red guitar. There is a closeup of me at the 7:08 mark of the clip. Hope you enjoy it, and have a great day.

Teddy Pendergrass (With Brett Jolly on bass guitar) performing “Close the Door” live

This is a clip from a live performance featuring Teddy Pendergrass which was filmed in Los Angeles, California. You can find me in the background for most shots of the sax player or keyboard player (also, there is a quick closeup at the 2:09 mark of me). You can also find me on the viewer’s left side of the stage (Teddy’s right side). This was filmed and featured for PBS years ago, and I hope you don’t mind me sharing it with you today. This is one of the first gigs that Teddy did after his accident which paralyzed him to a wheelchair. Hope you enjoy:)
