Brett Jolly’s Daily Thought (Weather for Philadelphia so far this winter)

If you have ever lived in Philadelphia, Pa long enough I’m sure you have experienced severe weather. Philadelphia has been well known for some extremely hot summers and some severely cold winters. Currently we are almost into March, and so far we have not had much snow here. In fact, we have not experienced much of any cold temperatures as well. Our last 3 winters have not been bad at all (at least when compared to Philadelphia’s normal standards). Why is this happening? Let’s not be premature here. It is still quite possible that we might get the coldest March on record. I have known Philly to get snow as late as April so we are not out of the woods yet. I think we just had the warmest January on record, and we may very well have the warmest February also. Those are usually our coldest months. Some will say this is a result of climate change, and they may be right. I have noticed that in the past few years states south of us have had to endure colder weather patterns than us. I don’t know if this means anything for the summer. It may be hot, it may be rainy, or it may even snow (yes, even that is a possibility). Whatever the case, I am extremely thankful that we have been able to get past this winter so far. I am not a big fan of cold temperatures. Still, Philadelphia weather is just about always unpredictable. The weather people have been wrong so many times with their predictions here. Let’s see what happens from here. Thank you for checking out my Daily Thought, and as always I wish you the very best that life has to offer.
