Brett Jolly’s Daily Thought (Happy New year, everyone)

I am happy to make it to this new year. 2019 ended with a lot of grief for me and family. On top of all of that I got sick (and I still am sick). As a musician, I usually always play on New Year’s eve. I had committed myself to a gig last night. I probably shouldn’t have done it. For about 10 minutes, everything was fine. However, after 10 minutes my guitar felt as though it weighed 300 pounds. I had been sick all week, so I didn’t eat much of anything. I was “extremely weak” last night. I learned a good lesson from this. Today I have no intentions of doing anything.  I am congested. I still have aches and pains but they are not as bad now. I get tired of hearing those little noises my stomach makes. This may not be the ideal way to start off my new year, but I still intend to make the most of this.  I hope you all have a truly great and prosperous new year.  Thank you for checking out my Daily Thought, and as always I wish you the very best that life has to offer.
