Brett Jolly’s Daily Thoughts (Took my kids to one of those haunted houses)

During this time of year there are usually festive events like haunted houses up all over the place. I have heard all of the comments about how we are not supposed to worship demonic events. I understand people’s perspectives on that totally. However, I don’t go there to worship anything demonic. I go there to have fun, and I usually take my kids there every year. This particular place was in Dorney Park in Allentown Pennsylvania. Yes, prices were kind of hefty, and the lines were long. However, we discovered a way to make the lines easier for us. When we got there, we got in line for one place and waited for close to 45 minutes. Then my daughter told me that there was another line for those who paid more money but got in quicker. That line was very short and quick. We decided to look at the price for upgrading our tickets. Well, we paid it, and the benefits were extremely helpful. While the conventional lines were very long, we managed to walk up in the short lines and got to see just about everything. I hated spending the money, but I loved being in the fast lane. From now on I will make sure to get the better tickets. Dorney Park is over an hour from where I live, and I had an early gig that evening. Once we got there, it was “super crowded.” If we had stayed with the original cheaper pricing, we probably would only have had time for 3 or 4 rides. Once we upgraded we got on them all. Overall it was fun and it was a learning experience for me. I know how to handle this next time. It was fun, my kids enjoyed themselves and I had fun as well. I hope you don’t mind me sharing my experience with you today. Thank you for checking out my Daily Thought and as always I wish you the very best that life has to offer.
