Brett Jolly’s Daily Thought (What’s happening with Steve Harvey?)

It is always great to see someone who is listed as a minority doing great things. However, when those great things bother the people in charge that could turn out to be disastrous. For those of you who are not familiar Steve Harvey is a very wealthy Black man. He was hosting a lot of television programs and even has his own syndicated radio program. Depending on who you ask, Steve is a great man. He has written books that have sold very well, and to many he is considered an expert on relationships. He has been married 3 times and has had more than his share of troubles from faulty relationships. Recently he had 2 of his shows cancelled amid rumors of problems with his current wife (which he seemingly dispels). What is happening with Steve? That depends on who you ask. This was something recently posted on him:

I do realize that popularity can work for you and can also work against you. Greed can do the same things. I am not saying that Steve is greedy at all, but when you try to get as much as you can, there will always be others who will develop resentment. Michael Jackson owned over half of Sony when he died. Prince got the rights to his music back from Warner Brothers when he died, Bill Cosby tried to own NBC and look where he is now. If Steve doesn’t exert some kind of damage control, he could become the very “next” victim. The alleged stories about his wife aren’t helping him. At some point he may have to choose between his obligation to his wife and his career. That should make for an interesting decision on his part. Regardless of everything, Steve Harvey has been very successful. I sincerely hope he can keep it up, but in this business it is fairly apparent how things “can” go. Thank you for checking out my Daily Thought, and as always I wish you the very best that life has to offer.
