Brett Jolly’s Daily Thought (Have you ever done something and wondered why you did it? What if it really wasn’t you?)

This may sound a little strange and I hope you hear me out on this. Naturally we all are a product of what we have learned but I truly believe we are much more than that. Have you ever noticed that sometimes we all may do something and wonder why we did it? Could it actually be because it was someone else’s intention to do it? Listen please… You already know that we inherit physical traits from our ancestry. We may get our fathers height or our mother’s weight (or even some things from our grand parents, thus skipping a generation). It is quite possible to get all kinds of traits from ancestor’s of our past. If we can inherit the physical aspects of our ancestry then why can’t we pick up the “mental and spiritual” aspects as well? Think about this for a minute… Some people hear voices in their heads. What if those voices were actually from past relatives  that were part of the family line? Of course, we all need knowledge to learn how to cope in society, but that knowledge will be most helpful depending on which behavior trait within you picks up on it.  No one is perfect, but why not?  Maybe it is because we have so many different personalities within us. With all those different opinions within us it is probably tough to achieve consensus thinking. With learning, we can control some of those characteristics we were born with (but not all). There are studies that prove that different people will react differently to the same stimuli. Why is that? Maybe it is because our different personalities that we were born with will react differently to the knowledge we receive. A lot of the inmates in jail believe that they are there because they made a bad mistake. What if they didn’t actually intend to make that mistake, but another personality within them did? This may be the reason why learning and education are so important to us. We may not be able to control certain impulses within us without knowing more about our world. Even if we did learn more there are still no guarantees. Rich people have gone to jail too, and some of them are very knowledgeable and educated. Each time a child is born he or she inherits things from 2 different generations. The more kids that are born, the bigger the amount of personalities they inherit. They all can’t be perfect. This may sound crazy, but the whole sake of mankind may depend on how we educate our children and the personalities within them. The ones who have committed random acts of violence may not have wanted to do evil things to others, but their physical and mental makeup may be a heavy contributing factor. I’m sure some people will disagree with me on this, but does this make sense to you? People may not be able to help themselves. Some were born to lie. Some were born to fight all the time. Some were born to argue. To overcome these traits within us we need training, knowledge and education. Also, people have to “realize” the weaknesses within them. You can’t fight something you can’t see or acknowledge. Others may need your help as well, because they can’t see their own weaknesses. If we are to survive then we need each other. I firmly believe this. I hope that this makes sense to someone. Thank you for checking out my Daily Thought, and as always I wish you the very best that life has to offer.
