Brett Jolly’s Daily Thought (Waiting for the warmer weather here in Philly)

To be honest, it has not been a bad winter here in Philly at all. We had only a couple of snowstorms, some very frigid temperatures (not many) but this past winter was “livable” for us. It is now April 10 and the warmer Spring weather should be on the way soon. I did not officially check the weather forecast, but I heard that we might even make 80 degrees by this weekend. Yesterday it was drizzling and cool. There is a peacefulness about the winters here. There is not much activity going on outside when it’s cold. However, the Spring time will allow me to take more walks and enjoy the air more. The warmer weather also involves more people walking around outside. There is nothing wrong with that, but when things get really hot then there is a tendency for more crimes to be committed. Regardless, I think we have had enough of the winter weather, and I am more than ready for the change. Each year I like to take my kids to Atlantic City just so that we can wake up to the ocean. If you can go there during certain days you can get rooms there “dirt cheap.” It is time, and I am “so ready” to go. I realize that the weather in my area doesn’t have to be the same as people who live elsewhere. Wherever you are, I hope you manage to make the most of the circumstances around where you live. Have fun, and enjoy life… Thank you for checking out my Daily Thought, and as always I wish you the very best that life has to offer.
