Brett Jolly’s Daily Thought (The greatest successes)

Complacency… It comes with being satisfied where you are. It involves being comfortable with no real desire to want to reach for better results. It could work out fine for you, but will you ever find out how great you can be? Sometimes in order to achieve great things you have to make sacrifices. For example, you will never know how it feels to hit the million dollar lottery unless you are willing to risk losing a dollar (at least). If you don’t make an investment somewhere, chances are great that you will stay right where you are and never grow. You may have to spend money on something you need to make that business work well. This is known as “risk.” If you don’t take chances (risk) then that means you are comfortable staying where you are. A lot of people will remain stagnant, and then complain later about how they feel they should be doing more. The first step when it comes to reaching a certain destination is to “in essence taking that first step.” In other words, you won’t get to reach your destination until you first step in that direction. What follows is what determines just how far you get. The problem here is the detours and pitfalls. These things will often hinder you or impede your progress. You can let these pitfalls stop you, or you can find ways to go around them towards your goal. Also, one of our greatest road blocks comes when we listen to the negativity of others. Lots of people have opinions, and there are many who will try to kill your inspiration. If you allow them to have that effect on you, you may never achieve the greatness that you desire. Do your homework. Study everything you need to know to the point where you can answer your own questions and then take that step. The greatest successes in life often come from those who are willing to take the greatest risks. Your options are you can fail or you can succeed. Life is short with no guarantees. Yours could end tomorrow. Make the most of your desires and try to live out your dreams. Until then, you may never know just how far you can go… Thank you so much for checking out my Daily Thought, and as always I wish you the very best that life has to offer.
