Brett Jolly’s Daily Thought (“Yesterday was a day when it felt like everyone was trying to stress me out”)

For some odd reason, yesterday I heard from all types of people who wanted to argue and debate with me over all types of negative things. It had gotten so bad that I actually checked myself for a moment to see if I were to blame. I examined each situation carefully and determined that everyone was having a bad day and just wanted me to have one with them. Since I am a former stroke victim I have to make sure that I don’t give a whole lot of attention to those people who want to worry me unneccesarily. Usually at some point I let them know that they are working my nerves and they have a certain amount of time before I end the conversation and hang up the phone. I realize that people will have bad days (and yes, that includes myself). I also realize that stress is what you allow others to put on you. I had quite a few people call me to air their differences. The one thing that I can say is that whenever I start a new day I “try” to leave all the negativity of the prior day behind. Each new day is a new start for me. Once I finish writing this article I will attempt to live my day peacefully and hope no one else will try to bring more negativity to me. I love peace… I really hate to fight or debate anyone over anything. Sometimes it can’t be helped, though. I will repeat in my head (“Today is going to be a good day”). I will take walks and think about peaceful things. Later on today I have been asked to speak to an audience about the industry of music. I plan to make it a great event. It will be on Wharton Street here in Philadelphia around 6:00. If you are interested in attending, hit me up at Brettjolly@aol.com (Right now I don’t know the address, but it was sent to me in Facebook email). Remember, you have control over your day. Exercise your right to experience peace, even from those who wish you anything but… Thank you for checking out my Daily Thought, and as always I wish you the very best that life has to offer.
