This song is clearly “dated.” It is “old” and it is somewhat of a classic. The message is very simple and straight forward. However, the groove is awesome. The musicianship is extraordinary. The piano riffs are incredible and the whole vibe of the song just touches me. They don’t make tunes like this anymore, and we are the ones who are losing out because of it. I do realize that “one man’s music can be another man’s misery,” so I would understand perfectly if other’s disagree with me on this choice. However, every time I hear this song it brings a smile to my face. You may have heard this tune before or you may not have, but if you are hearing this for the very first time I only hope that you feel what I do whenever it is played. This is one of my favorite slow music pieces of all time. It is by an old group called the Ohio Players, and “this” is the song:
I hope you enjoy, and as always, I wish you the very best that life has to offer.
