For today here in the United States, many of us are celebrating Memorial Day, a day where we pay tribute to all those who are veterans of war and gave their lives to make our world safer. While I have never liked the concept of war I fully appreciate those who sacrificed for the sake of my family and our well being. Hopefully a miracle can happen and one day ALL wars will be over, and peace will reign throughout the entire world as it should. However, until that miraculous day comes, we will continue to be people that believe that the answers to all our problems lies in killing other people. Even if a time should ever arrive for peace, we cannot forget about those veterans who helped pave the way for us. If you have “any” relative who died in battle, you have my deepest sympathies and condolences. If you don’t celebrate Memorial Day where you live then I hope you find some “other way” to pay tribute to those who fought and lost for you. Thank you for checking out my Daily Thought today, and as always i wish you the very best that life has to offer.
