Here in Philadelphia we are getting geared up for our change in seasons. Summer has wound down and soon the temperatures will begin to drop. While I absolutely love the summer I do have a fond appreciation for this autumn time of year as well. The scenery transforms to a colorful ambiance as the leaves change color. This time of year also works for me because I also love peace and serenity. When it comes to working on music, whether writing, recording or producing, a peaceful environment can make the biggest difference in productivity. Just imagine an artist who loves to paint. It might be difficult to be creative with a lot of distractions going on, but in a tranquil environment he or she might have the best opportunity to practice art. I am the same way, and autumn provides me with that creative setting. A winter snow storm also provides a great setting for being creative as well. During the summer I enjoy all the activity that goes on, and I absolutely love warm weather, but I rarely get anything accomplished the way I want in the summer because of all the distractions going on. This fall I intend to work on new music as well as take some colorful photo shoots and even make more videos. I believe that everyone should strive to make a positive change for themselves with the upcoming new season. I realize that different places have different types of weather going on, and in some places they have summer tempts all year round. While that may be ideal to most, I just prefer to make the most of the seasonal change and let it inspire me to do what I love to do. By the way, my greatest songwriting fantasy is to have my keyboard with me on a deserted beach and compose a song to the sound of the waves. I did it once when I had to stay and play two weeks in Ocean City Maryland. I enjoyed it and hope that one day I will get that opportunity again. If you are about to experience a seasonal change where you live, I hope you can find a way to capitalize on it as well. Everyone should have something that they really like to do. With the weather you can also make a change for the better just like I intend to. To me that just shows how special life can be. Whatever your circumstances can be, I hope you are able to enjoy life to the fullest today. It’s a new day, and with each new day comes a new blessing. I hope you plan to make the “most” out of yours… Have a great day, and I wish you the absolute best that life has to offer.
